Hill Top Learning Behaviours
Hill Top Learning behaviours are a new, exciting initiative to help deepen children's understanding of learning and what qualities are needed to be a GOOD learner.
Parents, pupils and staff were all involved and consulted in creating our 6 learning behaviours.
A competition was ran at the end of last summer for children to design the characters for our 6 chosen behaviours. The lucky winners got to visit the New Media Company, where they got to see first hand their designs come to life!
Hill Top Learning Behaviours are:
These are displayed around school and in every classroom.
Everyday children are encouraged to think about their learning behaviours and reflect on their learning.
Every week there is an award assembly where two children are nominated in each class for displaying learning behaviours in their work and attitude to their learning and they receive a special sticker with the characters on. Each week this page will be updated with the childrens names who have been nominated. At the end of the half term parents are invited to assembly to see their child receive a special certificate.
