Our awe-inspiring topic during Spring Term lead us to exploring the mysterious and destructive world of Natural Disasters!
Our text this term will be 'The Wizard of Oz' - one of Mrs Clark's and Miss Robinson's favourites! We are incredibly exited to share this amazing story with the children.
In Science we will be learning about Rocks and Soils.
In Geography we will be looking at where natural disasters occur and understanding why they happen in different parts of the world. We will be looking at how earthquakes and volcanoes are formed.
In History we will be studying the effects of the volcanic eruption in Pompeii.
In Computing we will become opinion pollsters and learn how to take surveys, record and present data using a range of programmes.
In DT we will be building our very own natural disasters!
In Art, we will be using mixed media to create collages.
In Music we will be studying the music from the 1939 film 'The Wizard of Oz'
